Irina graduated from the School of Traditional Arts in 2015 with a PhD. Her research project, Spiritual Striving in Icon Painting, focused on the iconography of St George and the Dragon. Her work has been exhibited in Buckingham Palace, Christchurch Cathedral in Oxford, Cumberland Lodge (a former royal residency in Great Windsor Park), Norwich Cathedral, Coventry Cathedral, Wells Cathedral, as well as other places and in countries around the world. His Majesty King Charles III has three icons painted by Irina in his Highgrove Chapel. Her icon of the Crucifixion will be displayed at the Saatchi Gallery in October 2023. She lectures regularly, recently giving a lecture on icons in Brisbane, Australia. She regularly teaches on the MA course and provides courses for the public at the Prince’s Foundation, School of Traditional Arts in London. Her works have been published in international magazines on multiple occasions. BBC's ‘Songs of Praise’ featured her work and teaching in February 2023, and an episode on her work will be aired on Monument TV’s ‘Artful TV’ series in the United States, October 2023.
