Adam Williamson

Adam is a skilled stone and wood carver and a practising artist in many media. He works with artists and teaches in many parts of the world, including the School of Traditional Arts, where he completed his Master’s.

He is a leading specialist in biomorphic art (islimi) and his chapter on this is included in Arts and Crafts of the Islamic Lands, published by Thames & Hudson.

His interior, architectural and sculptural work has been commissioned by the Austrian Foreign Office, HRH the Prince of Wales, Kew Gardens, Oxford University, the Pakistani Embassy in London, Shakespeare’s Globe, Westminster Abbey and the Zoological Society of London.
