The Alchemy of Extracting Traditional Dyes from Plants

Extracting dyes from plants and insects is a traditional process that results in a variety of soft to vibrant colours. What is the difference between a dye and a pigment? Learn the alchemical process of transforming one into the other and how to create your own palette of natural colours. You will complete a small painting on your own dyed paper. Beginners welcome.
