Richard Henry

Richard is an artist, geometer and educator with a background in philosophy and cognitive psychology. He has a particular interest in the contemplative aspects of pattern. He studied sacred geometry and Islamic patterns at the School under Professor Keith Critchlow.

Richard’s educational projects explore links between geometry and art and he frequently leads study tours to Istanbul, Fez and the Alhambra in Granada, lecturing widely in the UK and abroad.

Richard co-edited and illustrated Miranda Lundy’s Sacred Number, a book about the history and symbolism of number.
