HESA student data collection notice

Like other institutions, The Prince's Foundation School of Traditional Arts will pass certain personal data about students and staff to the Higher Education Statistics Agency (HESA).

HESA is the official agency for the collection, analysis and dissemination of quantitative information about higher education in the UK. It was set up by agreement between government departments, the higher education funding councils and universities and colleges.

HESA collects and analyses data for its various statutory customers, which are government departments and agencies like the Higher Education Funding Council for England (HEFCE). It also publishes statistics and may supply data in anonymised form to third parties. The provision of data to HESA is required by law.

HESA has provided the following link about the collection notices on the data collection and use of personal data from students: https://www.hesa.ac.uk/about/regulation/data-protection/notices
