Karachi students make a study trip to UNESCO World Heritage Site

Students on the one-year diploma programme spent a day at Makli Necropolis, analysing designs, making sketches, and learning about the history of this UNESCO heritage site in Thattha.

As part of their three week introduction to geometry module, students embarked on a field trip to the Makli Necropolis in Thattha, which is an internationally recognised heritage site. The Makli Necropolis is renowned for its beautiful sandstone façade, which features a marriage of Muslim, Hindu, Persian, Mughal and Gujurati architectural influences.
