Overview: Through a series of lectures, workshops, drawing and building exercises and field trips, the Short Course allows participants to develop a deeper understanding of the ethos, principles and practises of The Prince's Foundation as it relates to architecture, sustainability, and community building.

 

At the heart of this course is a belief in the importance of sharing knowledge, experience and expertise to promote the creation of healthy, beautiful and sustainable communities.

The short course has been designed to allow participants to develop a deeper understanding of the ethos, principles and practises of The Prince's Foundation as it relates to architecture, sustainability, and community building, as well as to facilitate the sharing of knowledge among students and practitioners in the UK and abroad.

What you will be doing:

  • Masterclasses and seminars – from professionals, tutors and students at the Prince's Foundation alongside special guest speakers.
  • Workshops – including introductions to sacred geometry, structure building and architectural sketching.
  • Tours – including visits to the Prince’s Natural House, Poundbury, and architectural walking tours.

There are no entry requirements for this course.
